Carlos Pola has been a friend for the past few years and is someone we hold in very high regards. He has done a lot to ensure the highest quality without the use of fertilizers and pesticides. Carlos comes from a family of coffee producers, he purchased Finca Las Brisas in 1997 while working in the textile industry. In 2012, he switched over to coffee full time where he's continuously pushed the envelope in both processing and sustainability by applying his knowledge of quality control, efficiency and data management which he gained in his time in the textile industry. His farm has its own lab for experimenting with various processes, quality control and to educating farm workers in specialty coffee.
